Replik Media Pvt. Ltd ("we", "our", or "us") operates the DocShare mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use DocShare.

By using DocShare, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the application.

Account information: When you register, we collect your name and either your email address or phone number to create your account.

User content: Files, documents, images, and messages you upload or send through DocShare are stored in encrypted form on our servers.

Usage data: We collect information about how you interact with the app, including features used, session duration, and crash reports.

Device information: We collect device identifiers (FCM token), operating system version, and device model to deliver push notifications and improve compatibility.

Communications: Chat messages and call logs are stored in our database to provide the messaging and calling features.

• Provide, maintain, and improve the DocShare application
• Authenticate your identity and secure your account
• Deliver push notifications for incoming calls and messages

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4Data Storage & Security

Your files and documents are encrypted using AES encryption before being stored. Encryption keys are managed such that only authorised users can access their content.

We use Google Firebase (Firestore) to store chat, call, and document data, and industry-standard HTTPS to secure all data in transit.

While we implement strong security measures, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.

5Third-Party Services

DocShare uses the following third-party services which have their own privacy policies:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database (Firestore), and push notifications (FCM)
• LiveKit — audio and video calling infrastructure
• Replik Media server OTP authentication and push notification delivery

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these services.

6Permissions We Request

DocShare requests the following device permissions:

• Camera — for video calls
• Microphone — for audio and video calls
• Storage / Files — to upload and download documents
• Notifications — to alert you of incoming calls and messages
• Phone number — used only for login OTP, not for contacts access

You may revoke any permission at any time through your device settings, though this may affect certain features.

7Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email address below.

Backups may retain data for up to 30 days after deletion before being permanently removed.

8Children's Privacy

DocShare is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
